Vintage hardened steel snake guides with new wraps and a chrome-plated nickel stripper guide are protected by three or more coats of Spar varnish.
A one-inch short mid joint - from a ferrule reset - makes this is a great buying opportunity. You can own a professionally refinished split-bamboo fly rod at a bargain price. Retailed in 1949 for $25, inflation alone would have driven the current value to over $200. Not a common model with a dry fly designation. Very-good-Exc. $140
