0152: Montague Sunbeam bamboo fly rod. 8 1/2', 3/2, 6oz. Plated brass ferrules. Blue plastic 'Titelock' reelseat. Maker and Model label on shaft. White/Blue space dyed wraps, no tipping. Black snake guides and tiptops, ring hook keep. All joints correct length and straight. Ferrules are tight although the female ferrule on the butt joint has a small crack to the pin. One guide has been deformed slightly but is still functional. The rod is all original except for an optimistic bright yellow and red 18 inch ruler decal that has been applied to one flat on the butt joint. The decal is marked "Marjorule, Troy NY, Pat. Appl'd for", and might be varnished over. Sounds worse than it looks and in reality does not look that bad. With a little cleaning and polishing this rod could pass for new. No bag or tube. I'll call it Very Good+ : $135
