Internal uplocking fly-fishing reel seat with black aluminum barrel. All guides are small double-braced hard chrome plated stainless steel. Black and white jasper wraps, no tipping. Brushed chromium plated nickel-silver ferrule. Full South Bend label, with model number data on the shaft. A fishable example of this combination fishing rod. This gorgeous, affordable, shorter length split-bamboo rod has been rewrapped, then finished with UV protective spar varnish. The excellent bamboo shows no damage, splits, or open seams and is straight. The nickel-silver serrated ferrule 'pops' nicely. The cork grip has been stabilized and while it shows minor, honest, wear from use, it is ready for many more outings. If you both spin fish and fly fish while astream you will appreciate the convenience of carrying only one rod that will cover most situations.
