This early example of the 'J.C. Higgins' model 3001 fly rod was sold exclusively by 'Sears Roebuck' circa 1940. A serviceable example ready to go fishing again. All joints are full length and straight. The rod and wraps have two or more coats of new UV protective Spar varnish.
