The highly legible model data markings on the shaft are factory original and include the "Heddon" script running up one flat of the shaft dating this rod to circa 1951. The solid cork-rings 'cigar grip' has been chemically cleaned and looks near new.
Here's a chance to add a very nice, circa 1948-54 issue, 'Heddon' "Bass, or Heavy Trout" rod to your arsenal. This rod will fit nicely into your Heddon collection or you might want to take it out to the farm pond and try your luck tossing some bass-bugs. Excellent. $255
