The extra length grip on this rod is a straight taper solid cork grip that provides about 4" of forward area for adjusting your cast. The grip has been chemically cleaned. The aluminum bodied reel seat with nickel hardware is smooth, secure and light-weight. The new varnish is UV protective spar varnish. A trade rod, it now carries a name and my decal. The model name refers to any trout stream in your fishing memory. This is a very nice, medium action Trout rod.
